I like to evoke a sense of mystery from my work. I often accomplish this by choosing subject matter with a mythic or allegorical foundation. Symbolism is used liberally.

Oftentimes my figures are alone, giving them a sense of being outside of the natural order. In doing so, I hope that my viewers are drawn into an empathic role that leaves them longing.
